121 Mentoring

Need guidance on a writing project, or advice to develop further your creative practice? Whether you’re at the start of a new idea, grappling with a creative block, or simply looking for a fresh perspective, my one-to-one mentoring sessions are all about helping you grow into the writer you want to be. Think of it as a conversation built around your questions, goals, and creative challenges—a space to dive into your process, build confidence, and navigate the ups and downs of the writing journey.

This isn’t an editing service; instead, it’s an inspiring, no-judgment zone where we can focus on your bigger picture. Maybe that means brainstorming approaches to a tricky plotline, developing stronger creative habits, or even talking through how to get your work out there. It’s about giving you the tools, insights, and direction to keep moving forward, whatever “forward” looks like for you.

Right now, I can offer mentoring sessions to writers of fiction, creative non-fiction, building your brand as a writer, and developing your creative practice, and I’m especially interested in mentoring writers traditionally underrepresented in the publishing industry.

Which mentoring option is right for you?

The mentoring I offer is tailored to your needs and is focused on your writing priorities. Pick the option that feels right for you:

  • Single Session – 60 mins | £115*
Great if you have a specific question or a single challenge in mind. This session is a chance to get straight to the heart of it and walk away with fresh ideas and next steps. It’s also helpful if you’re new to mentoring and would like a taster of what you can get out of the process.
  • Bundle of 3 Sessions – 60 mins each | £275
Need more time to work through a series of creative challenges or want support across several stages of a project? Three sessions give us room to go deeper, creating a more ongoing conversation about your writing and where it’s headed. A bundle of 3 sessions are also great for writers ready to publish their work and would like advice on how to pitch to agents and get published.
  • Bundle of 6 Sessions – 60 mins each | £650
Best for the writer working on a novel or a memoir, or looking for continued support. With six sessions, we’ll have time to explore multiple aspects of your work and creative goals, building a trusted partnership to help keep you moving forward.

If this sounds like what you need, drop me an email to ask a question, or request a 15-minute complimentary discovery chat. You can book a 60-min mentoting session directly here.

*The payment is for a 60-min mentoring session, paid in advance.

We were delighted that Nataliya accepted our invitation to chair the launch event for Yael Inokai’s A Simple Intervention. She was very well prepared and her questions were insightful and thought provoking. She confidently steered the conversation in a way that felt well structured and engaging, and the author, translator and audience felt very comfortable in her safe hands. We hope Nataliya will host more events with us in the future!
